Now I know its hard to be trapped in an elevator. It was Friday, Oct. 15, 1999, 11 PM at the McGraw-Hill Building in New York City. Nicholas White took a cigarette break and heads back upstairs in Elevator Car No. 30. The elevator got jammed and he was trapped for 41 Hours.
